Do you have annoying pee problems?
Have you noticed that you get up several times in the night to go for a pee? Or your flow stops and then starts again? Or you never quite feel you have completely emptied your bladder? You might be suffering from the symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate. Around 1 in 4 men over 40 suffer from BPH, that’s around 2.4 million men in the UK alone, so don’t feel like it’s just you.
“…I’ve noticed it’s made me really isolated. I tend not to want to go out, as I know I’m going to have to plan my route by the available toilets” Sam, 54*
“I’m up about 3 times a night. That’s not great for my family... there’s a creaky floorboard outside my bedroom door so when I step on that my son complains because it wakes him up.” David, 56*
Pee problems can occur due to a number of different conditions but the most common of these is BPH.
Before BPH
BPH
You could think about BPH as like a fist wrapping around a pipe made out of soft rubber; the fist is your prostate, and the pipe is the urethra or tube that carries urine from the bladder. As the fist squeezes harder, the tube becomes constricted and fluid can’t flow through it as easily. Flomax Relief is an easy to use once a day treatment that treats the symptoms of BPH. Flomax Relief works by relaxing the ‘fist’, helping the fluid to flow more freely through the pipe again.
